What does God look like?

One of the 1st followers of Jesus made this incredible claim, “Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.” For years people have wanted evidence for what God looks like, and the best answer Christianity has to offer is that God looks like Jesus. God looks like humility, God looks like compassion, God looks like loving sacrifice, God looks freedom, God looks like forgiveness, God looks like wisdom, God looks like healing and restoration and redemption, God looks like reconciliation and Hope! So, you cannot make Jesus just a nice guy from history or an irrelevance to modern living. If you need hope, freedom, forgiveness, wisdom, freedom and redemption then look to the God who has revealed himself to humanity by embodying himself as a human so humans can know God.
