The Think About Jesus movement mobilizes groups of believers around a central event to raise community awareness of the personage and identity of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.
Who we are?
We are people of different nationalities, different races, but people who consider Jesus an important person of history. He has an important place in our lives, not because of tradition, but because we have researched about him and considered Him as a person.
We don’t represent a religion, we want to represent Jesus!
Our site and our movement would simply like to encourage you to consider Jesus. Some of the answers are not as easy as you might think.
Look beyond the surface! Let’s take off the screening glasses of religion and that of atheism as well. That is the only way we can consider Jesus, and that’s how we want to represent Him!
There are many questions, and most likely you have some as well.
Where did it all start?
It began in Hungary when 42 churches in 27 cities agreed to go out to the streets wearing a simple t-shirt with the single message “Think About Jesus”.
As people went about town for two days, they encountered families, individuals and workers wearing this single admonishment. The grabber is they didn’t see it once, they saw it many times. Shops, parks, malls, celebrations and even in the workplaces, people were repeatedly asked to Think About Jesus without confrontation.
Exposure to Jesus.
- We carry no other message but Jesus. The power of the Word (John 1) speaks for itself and we do not rely on persuasiveness and the superiority of our speech.
Shared experience.
- The humility of local unity around the personage of Jesus is a powerful witness in itself. The more participants, the more shared stories and enthusiasm we generate.
International unity.
- On August 23-25, 2024 we expect thousands of people from more than 10 countries, Hungary, Bosnia, Romania, United States, Albania, England, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Serbia, Macedonia, Liberia, Nigeria and others will take to the streets with the simple admonition to think about Jesus.

What is the Think About Jesus (TAJ) movement?

The TAJ movement started with questions. “How will we reach people outside our circles? How will we challenge people to have an opinion about God? How can people who aren’t pastors, evangelists or church leaders share their faith?” In the small country of Hungary in 2020, thousands of people went out to represent Jesus with a t-shirt. It was like a flash-mob, but in a natural way. The busier believers are, the better. They shared the message at work, on trains, shopping and grocery stores. This principle of advertising is simple - people respond to messages they see over and over. Today, the movement has expanded worldwide. |
What are the principles of the movement?

Think About Jesus is about faith in Jesus. There shouldn’t be anything else on the shirts. There’s unity in lifting up the name of Jesus and not our local churches. Of course, when people get excited about Jesus, they’ll be interested in our churches. But TAJ is the first step. Engage your local communityWe’re all part of a community of believers, and we should do evangelism with them. This movement isn’t a t-shirt ministry, it’s an evangelistic tool. When the local church bands together in unity, there is power. International communityThe International Think About Jesus Days are when believers from around the world go out with t-shirts. You are free to organize your own events on other days too, but there is great power in unity across the globe. Jesus sent out the disciples two by two, not alone. They had a shared experience of the excitements and disappointments. We believe in the power of believers coming together on the same day. |
What is the key to representing the movement?
Unity and the name of Jesus are key principles. Jesus doesn't call us to go out alone. Think About Jesus is not a t-shirt ministry, it is an evangelistic tool.
When Jesus sent out the 70 disciples two by two, He sent them out on the same day, not alone. They all did it together on the same days! Even though they were only two by two, when disciples returned to the group they had shared experiences. They talked about their excitement and disappointments. Let's go out with thousands of people worldwide, or together with your local church community.
Who is leading it?
While the movement started in Hungary, it’s led by local leaders all over the world. The people behind the movement come from different countries and denominations, with a vision to share the gospel.
Who can join?
Anybody who believes that salvation is by grace, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Anybody who believes in Jesus’s death, burial, resurrection and ascension as essentials for our salvation and believes in Jesus for the forgiveness of his/her sins and expresses that faith by repentance.
